A Week In…

It’s been a week since I left Texas and I love Kunshan, with all the trees, bridges, and waterways.  It’s a smaller town so it’s easy to get around (if you have a picture of where you want to go) and feels really safe (people walk around all night and there aren’t many street lights.) My apartment is much bigger than my one room at my parents’ house and is close to a local shopping center.  I can’t wait to explore it more.  This week we have done lots of apartment shopping, with the occasional tourist stop.  Mostly we have been relaxing and getting over the jet lag (and vacation lag from Hawaii.)  I can say though, once all the other teachers get in I will be able to give them great advice on where to find apartment stuff. Also, THERE’S AND IKEA! Life is good.
