Five days.  After months of planning, packing, and paperwork I’m almost ready to move to China.  This summer was filled with goodbye lunches and quality time, and all I want is a nap.  With time running out it has been so great to get away and relax with family in Hawaii. Not only has it given me a chance to decompress before the move, but it has also made me question why I didn’t look for a teaching job here in Oahu.  Oh well.  Too late now.

So.  This is where you follow me into the great wide somewhere.  Everyone who knows me knows I am always in search of a new adventure.  Adventures don’t have to be as big as moving to China for two years, they can be small everyday events.  And they aren’t always happy and exciting, sometimes they are tough to get through.  Whatever the adventure, I can’t wait to share them all with you.

I want adventure in the great wide somewhere.
I want it more than I can tell.
And for once it might be grand,
To have someone understand,
I want so much more than they’ve got planned…
